What is a Woven Beam Wrap?

 

Laminated beams are subject to tighter moisture content specifications (20% US, 15% Canada), manufactured to much more rigid measurements than dimensioned lumber, as well as they are often pre-drilled and notched at the factory rather than in the field - maximum protection in shipping is crucial. The woven poly beam wrap that we provide will assure that your product will make it to it's destination in the same condition it left the factory.

 

We typically try to use a heavier fabric than that of a standard woven lumber wrap. To prevent mildew, it's available in either white/black for darker beams and white/tan for lighter beams. All of your logos can be printed in up to 3 colors.  Widths can stretch to 144" for your needs. Our Beam wrap is 120% stronger than most other lumber wraps on the market. Brilliant white coating for photo print quality. Weather treated to withstand sub zero temps while able to maintain pliability. Black or Beige inner weave for excellent UV protection against the most harsh summer. This product is very popular with reclaimed wood manufacturers.

 

What is a Lumber Wrap?

 

Mahol provides high quality standard woven lumber wrap to meet the needs of the majority of our customers due to the lower cost and time tested element of this product. This product line is good for a standard shipment with short time coverage and reasonable shipment handling. When using a woven product you also have the ability to utilize a paperback option which is an inner paper lining to absorb excess moisture, thereby limiting damage to the contents by inhibiting mold growth. When considering a basic package for lumber and wood products, plain lumber wrap is the answer. While sewn lumber covers are also an excellent option for packaging lumber and wood products, rolls of plain standard lumber wrap allow for variables in board length, and work great with an end-line packaging station. Weather and sunlight resistant, our wraps are ideal for long term storage. Available in various weave strengths, colors, laminations, coatings and with paper backing. Mahols unique lumber wraps brings the benefits of protection to one of the last processes that remain largely manual in many industries.
